Injection of lyophilized formulations with LyoTip™ follows a similar procedure as that of an injection with Luer-tip, liquid, prefilled syringes.
  1. LyoTip™ device will be supplied with a prefilled diluent syringe.
  2. The seal tab of the LyoTip™ device is removed and the diluent syringe is connected.
  3. The needle shield is removed and the device is ready for injection.
  4. The drug is reconstituted during the injection as the diluent passes through the compartment where the lyophilized drug product is contained.
